So!!! I am officially a member of the Clan of the Laughing Dragons in Arkansas... i initiated last saturday night, and i must say that it feels awesome ... i love my family so much!

Well... Mundania is settling in... no more dancing naked out doors for a few months i am afraid :( i got home yesterday from a wonderful weekend in the north arkansas mountains... a weekend that i will never forget...with friends old and new alike. Friday was a wonderful mix of seeing old friends for the first time in months, and making new friends whom i will not forget for quite a while. from setting up camp, to dancing revels... and trying my hand at drumming for the first time... friday was AMAZING. Saturday, arrived and after a mid day rain storm ended just as wonderfully as the previous.. but much diffently.... because i actually did not go to bed... lol... many hours were spent enjoying the fire and long conversations with friends, new and old alike. Sunday settled in with a slight drizzle of rain, and a nice long nap. get through a bit more rain, and some quality time in a tent shade with a good friend waiting for the storm to pass, and then was more drumming and dancing to be enjoyed.... monday brought a small saddness... seperation... saying goodbye to those who had become family for a few short days... as camp broke, tears came to my eyes... there are people that i will never be able to forget. this community brings out security that i feel in no other place... walk around topless in mundania? no.. not even in my own home.... dance freely around a fire? not out here... . hug virtual strangers... slap them on the ass... ask them... encourage them... to dance nude.... actually ask a guy to dance? .... not here... i am too shy here.... i hide inside here... afraid of rejection.... on the land... i am me... the real me... the happy, safe, secure me....

so.. to those who were here in the haven with me i say... i love and miss you... you will always be in my heart. my door is open if you ever need a home away from home... or quite literally a home...  i hope to see you all again in October, where we can once again gather and meet new friends together.
